Mr. Otello Marcato, the founder of the Company, was born in Campodarsego on 13 May 1907. Thirty years later he founds OMC MARCATO and he begins to produce homemade pasta machines; back then the Company was the one and only factory in the world to produce that sort of item. In 1997 OMC MARCATO turns into MARCATO S.p.A. , a brand that still represents the high quality of Made in Italy products. The considerable investments incurred in technology , helped the Company to achieve a privileged position in the market. In the 2000s MARCATO obtains a lot of success with the new line WELLNESS and its advertising slogan " With Marcato Homemade pasta has come back into fashion " . And today here we are, with our brand new line ATLAS 150 WELLNESS COLORS. Many years have passed and many things have changed of course, but we still believe in traditions. For this reason our products are dedicated to people who love cooking, sharing food and sitting at table together.
